Question: How can I read eBooks on my Kindle?

Answer:

It depends on what version your Kindle device is. If it is a Kindle Fire or higher (basically, a Kindle that supports apps), you can read eBooks using the free BlueFire Reader app.

Instructions for downloading and installing BlueFire Reader on your Kindle Fire

Before you can use BlueFire Reader, you must first authorize the app with an Adobe ID. You should complete the following steps on your Kindle device:

  1. Go to this Adobe page to create an Adobe ID (if you don't already have one).
  2. Open BlueFire Reader on your Kindle. When prompted, enter your Adobe ID.
  3. Search for eBooks in SuperSearch. When you are offered a choice of Viewing Online or Download, select Download.
  4. Choose Download to BlueFire Reader. The BlueFire Reader app will open automatically and begin downloading the eBook.
