Question: How do I find music scores in the library?
Answer:
To search for music scores, enter your search term(s) in SuperSearch, then select "Scores" from the Material Type filter on the left. If Scores isn't one of the five types listed, click "Show More" to reveal all material types.
Each record for a printed score will display the location as "Cowles Library Stacks" followed by a call number:
To find music scores on the shelf, head to the library's lower level, west side, which houses call numbers starting with "M" through "Z". For help reading Library of Congress (LC) call numbers, use the guide below (the guide isn't specific to music score call numbers, but the same principle applies to reading all LC call numbers).
