Some of our materials regarding the Drake Relays are digitized and you may take a look at them on the Cowles Library website in the Drake Heritage Collections.  More specifically, there are Drake Relays Digital Archive and the Drake University Yearbooks.  In the Drake Relays Digital Archive there is also digital access to Drake Relays: 75 Years of Excellence Documenting the years 1959-1984, Robert Spiegel’s second book on the Drake Relays.This item contains the names of individual winners, not just school winners, and photographs; stories & documents; and the Memories section. The 1983 yearbook includes some information and photos, also.

The Times-Delphic student newspaper for 1983 is not yet digitized.
