Question: I'm applying for a job and I need to be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Does the library have anything that can help?
Answer:While Drake University no longer subscribes to Lynda.com, Drake ITS offers a number of other technology training resources for faculty & staff and for students.
The State Library of Iowa offers access to LearnNow, a set of self-paced lessons and tutorials for a variety of skill levels. There is a Computers and Technology section that could be useful.
Finally, the library has quite a few books and e-books that can help with building Microsoft Office skills.
Questions are answered as quickly as possible. Delays may occur when the library is closed or when Reference librarians are not available.
